Before law school, Shane worked at AIG and Chubb, two of the world’s largest insurance companies, where he learned how insurers underwrite risk and measure exposure.

After law school, he built his career at leading defense firms, litigating high-exposure tort cases in state and federal courts nationwide. He served as national and regional counsel for Fortune 500 companies and their insurers and tried numerous cases to verdict. That experience gives Shane a perspective few plaintiffs’ lawyers possess—and he now uses it exclusively for people the system was never designed to protect.

After 17+ years of defending corporations and insurance companies, Shane made a deliberate decision to devote his practice entirely to representing injured individuals and grieving families.

Over 15+ years, Shane developed deep expertise in high-stakes trucking and transportation litigation, from rapid-response crash investigation through trial. He understands commercial vehicle technology, complex accident reconstruction, biomechanics and occupant kinematics, human factors, and the state and federal regulatory frameworks governing motor carriers.

Having spent years working inside these cases, Shane knows how critical evidence is created, preserved, challenged, and often lost—and how trucking companies and insurers attempt to control the narrative early. That technical and strategic command now serves individuals and families seeking accountability after serious commercial vehicle crashes.

Beyond trucking and transportation cases, Shane’s practice focuses on wrongful death and catastrophic injury arising from medical and dental malpractice, dangerous products, food safety failures, unsafe premises (including negligent security), and other systemic safety failures. His approach is disciplined and rigorous, designed to develop a clear, provable narrative that decision-makers—and juries—can understand.
