In 2019, Johnny co-founded DataGavel, a legaltech platform for tort litigation; he exited the company in December 2025. Profiled in The AmLaw Litigation Daily for his thought leadership in tort litigation, Johnny has developed a subspecialty in valuing and pricing claims—experience that now informs his plaintiffs’ practice.

He is a Fellow in two invitation-only honorary societies, the American Bar Foundation (ABF) and Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), because of his effectiveness and accomplishments in litigation and superior ethical reputation.
